Rather predictable result when leader SpanishUCAM (5-0) rolled over 4th placed Polish Trefl (1-4) in Murcia 92-66 on Tuesday. Murcia made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Trefl turnovers. Murcia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Daniel Garcia (185-1998) nailed 11 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Romanian center Emanuel Cate (207-1997) accounted for 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four UCAM players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Szymon Zapala (213-2001, college: Michigan St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Jakub Schenk (184-1994) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for Trefl in the defeat. UCAM have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Murcia maintains first place with 5-0 record, which they share with Bilbao. Loser Trefl dropped to the third position with four games lost. They share it with Prievidza.
